Adopt, Foster and Volunteer
It doesn’t really matter where you adopt from. Getting animals out of the shelter into a loving home is the most important thing you can do. We love our partners, so please do look at their current adoptabel pets. If one goes home with you, they can save another!
SARA (Shetler and Rescue Alliance)
SARA (Shetler and Rescue Alliance) has more than 2 dozen Colorado shelters and rescues ready to help you find your next best friend!
Adopting homeless pets saves lives, promotes responsible ownership, and brings joy to both the pet and the adopter, creating a positive impact on the community and reducing overcrowding in shelters.
Fostering homeless pets provides temporary care, helps them adapt to home life, and frees up shelter space, increasing their chances of finding permanent homes while rewarding the fosterer with the satisfaction of making a direct, life-changing difference for these animals.
Join No Kill Colorado to advocate for and support our partners in ending animal euthanasia. Volunteer with us or get hands-on experience at your local rescue or shelter to make a positive impact on homeless pets.
