In the past, No Kill Colorado created an adoption event called Just One Day. This year it will be June 10th 2023 in Denver at EastFax Tap.
June 11, 2001 Nathan Winograd took over as director of a high kill shelter in Tompkins County New York. His first day as director was June 11th. From that year forward he created an annual event called Just One Day. The premise of this day is to ask every single shelter nationwide to not kill one healthy or treatable animal for "Just One Day".
No Kill has accomplished so much over the past two decades and we celebrate with a Just One Day adoption event in June. Join us for this celebration and meet adoptable pups!
The HSFC received over 60 cats in two weeks in May.
Humane Society has plenty of kittens as well
